Thanks for coming to Be A Boss: 10 Secrets of a Mega EA. Here are some resources to help you on your journey from Surviving to Thriving*
ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE
Quickbooks Online: Quickbooks is the gold standard in online accounting software for small businesses. Use my special link for 50% off your subscription for 6 Months (2X longer than the regular Quickbooks Online promotion!). Make sure to get the “Plus” plan for the extra reporting and classifying power. Go here for a downloadable MREA Chart of Accounts and instructions on getting it into Quickbooks Online.
Hubdoc: if you’re looking to get all your receipts, invoices and statements organized and out of the proverbial shoebox, look no further than Hubdoc. It will take your financial organization to the next level with a minimal amount of effort on your part.
PAYROLL SOFTWARE
Gusto: I am a Gusto evangelist. It is, simply put, the easiest, most intuitive payroll service on the market for small business. Pricing typically beats or is at least extremely competitive with ADP, Paychex and Intuit. Plus, sign up before Friday, January 31st with my special link, and you’ll get one month of payroll free and a $200 Amazon gift card (this drops to $100 after the 31st)
1099s
Still Need to Get 1099s out the Door? You have until the 31st to e-file your 1099s. I recommend Track1099 for sending 1099s to contractors, and it even has an online W-9 feature which allows you to securely collect contractor info.
